HJ_with_Instruments8x10.jpgThis year's event is dubbed “A Ramble in the Redwoods”: a cross generational evening of 'Americana and more' featuring Houston Jones with special guest Carlos Reyes as the house band backing a revolving cast of some of the Bay Area's accomplished musical talents. Houston Jones with special guest & violin virtuoso Carlos Reyes will fire up the crowd with a set of high octane Americana at 6pm. The ramble begins at 7pm as Houston Jones and Carlos Reyes back a multi-generational selection of the Bay's talented singer-songwriters including Shana Morrison (gutsy blues, rock & folk and daughter of Van Morrison), Alexander Nelson (powerful, poetic genre-bending originals and brother of Jackie Greene), Teresa Tudury (Leonard Cohen meets Bessie Smith), David Luning (gritty soulful Americana rock), and Jim & Kathy Ocean (folk-rock for tangled times). Reserve early for this one-of-a-kind spontaneous musical event at the magical Forest Theater.

The event also features a delectable "Great Feast” starting at 4:30pm in the theatre at a very reasonable $15 per plate. (A vegetarian option will be available for $10. ) Advanced purchase is required. Those who sign up for early dinner reservations will be treated to the Ramble sneak-peak sound check.

Additional food and beverages (including a beer and wine bar) will be available for sale. (Outside alcohol is not allowed.) Parking is limited. Carpooling is encouraged. The theatre is about a ¾ mile walk from most parking locations. Allow extra time. Please bring a flashlight and warm clothes. Shuttle service and drop off accommodations will be provided for those in need.

Tickets are on sale now. Reserve early as tickets are limited to about 400 participants. Tickets and information for both the concert and the Great Feast are available by calling 707-869-9177 or on-line at
