The commercial crabbing season has been delayed for a second time for the area north of the Sonoma-Mendocino county line. The delay is meant to allow the crustaceans time to mature and gain weight, according to state regulators. Normally crabbing begins on December 1st in that region. The commercial crab season opened on the Sonoma Coast south of Bodega Bay on Nov. 15.
